The catalog and templates save prescribers time. The catalog is the short list of treatments your organization prescribes. A template is a prescription built from one of them, with the sig and dispense filled in.

Catalog

Administrators manage the catalog under Settings → Catalog: Neutron · Photon. Drug search marks treatments that are in your catalog. Prescribers can still choose one that isn’t. To add one, open Catalog, click Add treatment to catalog and search for it. Removing a treatment can’t be undone, but you can add it again.

Templates

A template is a saved prescription with the drug, sig and dispense filled in, so prescribers don’t type the same prescription twice. There are two kinds:
  • Organization templates are shared by everyone in your organization. Administrators create them under Settings → Templates (Neutron · Photon) from a treatment in the catalog. Medical Operations and Staff can manage them too.
  • Personal templates belong to one prescriber, who saves them while prescribing.
Add a treatment to the catalog before you make an organization template for it.

Start a prescription from a template

Each template has an id (tmp_…), shown under Templates. Pass it as templateId to draft a prescription from it. The prescriber only reviews and signs.
